4th grade held their 9th and Final Wax Museum at Bellefonte Elementary on May 22, 2025. The students chose a person who achieved something great and is no longer living. They spent weeks researching this person and wrote a biography. To prepare for the museum, students brought in activation buttons, costumes and props related to their person. They also created a script that gave the highlights of the person's life. To wrap up the activity, students, teachers, parents and family members came to walk through the museum and learn about these extraordinary people.

Zane earned 5th place in the Triple Jump event - jumping an incredible 45 feet and 7.5 inches! This is the equivalent to almost the length of a semitrailer (which is on average 48 feet). The second graders of Bellefonte Elementary celebrated Bellefonte Week in May. Each day they took a walking field trip to a different place in town to learn about the community. The students visited Logan Fire Co, Bellefonte Art Museum, Centre County Library, the Borough Building where they got to meet Mayor Buddy Johnson and learn about being Mayor, and Mrs. Fisher collaborated with Mr. Maris to plan a historic tour of important landmarks in Bellefonte. The students and staff wrapped up Bellefonte Week with visiting Talleyrand Park and getting snow cones at Pelican's!

The High School Stat classes hosted their annual Probability & Statistics Carnival in April. The students create their own carnival games, calculate the probability of winning each prize, and then see if the actual game play (empirical probability) matches the classical probability. Staff and students are invited to be part of the data collection. What fun!
