Good morning Marion-Walker families,

It has been a great start to the school year. It is hard to believe that we are already into our third week of school. I am looking forward to seeing many of you at our “Back to School Night”.

Here are a few important notes about “Back to School Night”:
 **Thursday, September 11th
 **6:30 to 7:30 PM
 **1st through 5th Grades will attend. (K already had their night)
 **We run an open format for our “Back to School Night”, which means that there is not a set time when you need to arrive. I do suggest that you arrive before 7:15 PM because it will have been a long day and night for our teachers and I will want them to be able to leave at 7:30 PM to get home to their families.
 **There will be a lot of families in and out of the classrooms, so teachers will need to keep conversations brief and of a ‘public’ nature. It is not a good time to discuss serious concerns or personal information.
 **Encourage your child to be your ‘lead’. Have them give you the tour and take you to their classrooms.

Thank you and see you soon,
Mr. White
