The Bellefonte Area School District is requesting applications from all qualified and interested applicants for one vacant position on the Board of School Directors. The Board will conduct the screening, interview, and selection process publicly during a Special Meeting on Tuesday, September 22, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. in the Bellefonte Area Middle School Cafeteria. The appointed candidate will serve until the board's reorganization meeting in December 2027.
Interested applicants should submit a brief resume and cover letter, including background, qualifications, and a statement of interest in and commitment to serving on the Board of School Directors.
Materials will be accepted beginning Thursday, September 3, 2026. All applications must be received no later than Friday, September 18, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. (Noon).
