In March, the students at BAMS listened to a fantastic motivational speaker named Rohan Murphy. Murphy did a great job of engaging the students and held their attention for the entire time. He had one BAMS wrestler do push ups with him on stage and another joined him so he could demonstrate a wrestling takedown.
Here is some background information on Rohan Murphy:
Rohan Murphy is a nationally recognized youth speaker who has spoken in over 40 states. Rohan, who lost his legs at birth, started wrestling his freshman year of high school. After a successful high school wrestling career, he went on to wrestle at Penn State University. In addition to wrestling, Rohan Murphy is also an accomplished powerlifter, competing in international competitions all over the world and representing the USA.
