Attention, Bellefonte Community:
Effective November 18, 2025, a vacancy exists on the nine-member Board of Directors of the Bellefonte Area School District.
The Board intends to appoint an individual to fill this vacancy through the first Monday of December 2027. Interested individuals must be at least 18 years of age and must have been a resident of the district for at least one year prior to the date of the appointment.
Letter of interest, resume, and application are due by Monday, December 1, 2025, to Leslie Elder at lelder@basd.net or 318 North Allegheny Street, Bellefonte, PA 16823.
Candidates will be interviewed and an appointment will be made on December 2, 2025, at 7 p.m. at the Regular Board Meeting held at the Bellefonte Area Middle School cafeteria.
