Dr. Jennifer Brown has served as the Principal of Virtual Learning for the Bellefonte Area School District (BASD) since 2022.

Prior to her current role, Dr. Brown was the Principal of Bellefonte Elementary from 2018 to 2022 and held the position of Principal at Bellefonte Area High School from 2011 to 2018.

Dr. Brown began her career with the Bellefonte Area School District as a high school special education teacher in 1999.

She completed her undergraduate studies at Lock Haven University, earning a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1999. Dr. Brown subsequently obtained a Master of Education in Educational Administration in 2005 from Penn State University. In 2021, she successfully completed her doctoral studies in education at California University of Pennsylvania.

As an alumna and a committed member of the community, Dr. Brown is dedicated to providing a world-class education and learning experience for all students. She adopts a collaborative approach to leadership, placing a paramount emphasis on the student experience. Dr. Brown values the perspectives of the staff, as well as the needs and interests of the students, fostering a shared vision to achieve the district's goals.
