Work Permits
Work permits are REQUIRED for students ages 14-17 living within the Bellefonte Area School District.
Bellefonte Area School District is responsible for issuing work permits to all minors who reside in the district, including those who attend non-public schools, cyber charter schools or are participating in a home education program.
STEP 1:

STEP 2:
Bring the completed application along with one of the following valid forms of identification with you to the Central Office:
Valid form of id:
*Birth Certificate
*Baptismal Certificate
*Passport
*Driver's License
Please note, the student MUST be present to apply. A parent or guardian is not required to be there. However, a work permit will NOT be issued until the district has a signature of the parent or guardian on the application.

The administration office does not keep student records on hand and will need a physical form of identification. Pennsylvania Child Labor Laws require the district to have identification in person when the student applies.
