    Coach Seth Miller
    Head Coach, Hurdles - Coach Miller will begin his eigth season as the Head Track & Field coach of the Bellefonte Red Raiders in 2016 and thirteenth season overall. Coach Miller is a graduate of Brookville Area High School where he competed in both hurdling events as well as the 4x400m relay.  He graduated from Indiana Wesleyan University in December 2008 with a Master's of Business Adminstration in Applied Management. He also holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Penn State-Erie, The Behrend College and was a member of the 2001 Behrend Lions Track & Field Team. Currently Coach Miller is employed by WestPenn Power in State College where he works in Customer Support. Coach Miller takes pride in building the Bellefonte Track & Field program into a competitive program and developing the youth of our community in to leaders.  Coach Miller is married to Stacey Miller who coaches the high school girls' soccer team and is a fourth grade teacher at Pleasant Gap Elementary School. They have two girls':  Madyson 8, and Camryn 3. 
    Coach Bob Chandler
    Assistant Coach, Distance - Coach Chandler is a graduate of Northern Lehigh High School . While in High School he competed in both Cross Country and Track and Field. Coach Chandler boasts such accolades as PIAA Class AA Cross Country State Champion in 1992 and 3200m State Champion in 1993, capturing a Northern Lehigh High School record of of 9:22. He finished 27th at the Kinney (Foot Locker) National Championship race and placed first at the National AAU Cross Country meet in 1992. He is also a member of the Northern Lehigh High School Ring of Honor. Coach Chandler ran Cross Country and Indoor/Outdoor Track at Bucknell University.  During Coach Chandler's career at Bellefonte he has coached multiple school record holders and has developed the Bellefonte Distance Team into a true competitive team.  This will be Coach Chandler's 16th year at Bellefonte Area High School.
    Coach Kim Gasper
    Assistant Coach, Distance - Coach Gasper will enter her 12th season as a member of the Bellefonte Red Raider Track & Field coaching staff.  Coach Gasper is also the head Cross Country coach at Bellefonte Area High School where she has developed the program into a championship caliber team. She is in her twelfth year as a high school special education teacher. Prior to moving to the Bellefonte Area, Coach Gasper spent 11 years as the assistant cross country and assistant girls track coach at Hazleton Area High SchoolShe graduated cum laude from Bloomsburg University in 2001 and ran cross-country & track earning Academic All-American honors, MVP track (2000) and MVP cross-country (2001) and was voted Senior Athlete MVP in 2001. She is married to Steve Gasper.  They have a six year old son, Jonathan and own a treeing walker coonhound named Copper.
    Coach Dave Schaub
    Assistant Coach, Jumps - Coach Schaub is a graduate of Coudersport High School where he competed in football, basketball, and track & field.  Coach Schaub was a 2 - time PIAA state qualifier in the javelin throw placing second with a throw of 191' 11" in 1968. Coach Schaub attended Rider University where he competed in track & field and basketball. He began his teaching and coaching career at Bellefonte in 1973 and has coached basketball, football, golf, and track & field.  Coach Schaub was the Head Track & Field Coach here at Bellefonte for 7 seasons from 1992 to 1998. During his tenure 8 student-athletes were District 6 Champions, 10 student-athletes qualified for the PIAA State Championships at Shippensburg University and fifteen school records were set.  Coach Schaub and his wife Janice, also a Coudersport graduate, are both retired teachers of the Bellefonte Area School District. They have 4 daughters and currently have 12 grandchildren.
    Coach Bob Bloom
    Assistant Coach, Sprints, Relays - Coach Bloom has been a staple on the Bellefonte Track & Field coaching staff for several years. He has had the opportunity to coach school record holders on both the boys' and girls' teams. Coach Bloom is a Bellefonte grad where he excelled in the sprinting events. Coach Bloom is excited about rejuvenating the sprinting program at Bellefonte and seeing growth amongst our team.
    Coach Kyle Wintersteen
    Assistant Coach, Javelin - Coach Wintersteen is a 2004 graduate of Penn State University where he was a four-time letter winner for the varsity track and field team and a four-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree.  He placed fourth in the javelin at the 2004 Big Ten Championships with a throw of 205 feet.  Wintersteen also competed for Danville High School where he was a two-time PIAA District IV champion, two-time Susquehanna Valley League meet champion, and finished undefeated in dual meets his junior and senior seasons.  His high school best of 204'10" broke the school and league records.  Currently Coach Wintersteen works for Delta Waterfowl and specializes in waterfowl hunting and conservation.  He lives in Bellefonte with his wife, Amanda.  They have two sons.  This is his fourth season coaching the Red Raiders.
    Coach Chris Cipro
    Assistant Coach, Distance -  Coach Cipro is entering his third season as an assistant in the distance team.  Coach Cipro is a 2012 graduate of Penn State where he competed for the varsity track and field team.  Originally from Harmony, PA Coach Cipro attended Seneca Valley high school where he was a standout distance runner.  Coach Cipro competed at the PIAA State Championships in both cross country (finished 19th) and in the 3200m during his senior season.  Coach Cipro currently is an elementary teacher at Marion-Walker Elementary School.
    Coach Chris Freidhoff
    Assistant Coach, Sprints, Relays, Horizontal Jumps - Coach Freidhoff is a graduate of Saint Francis University and United High School where he competed in the Triple Jump, Long Jump, and 4x100m relays.  Coach Freidhoff competed and lettered all four years at United High School.  During his senior year he was selected as captain of the team, placed 2nd at the District VI championships, and went on to compete at the PIAA State Track & Field Championships.  Coach Freidhoff was recruited by Saint Francis University in Loretto, PA where he competed for their Division 1 Track & Field team all four years.  During his senior year at Saint Francis, he was awarded the Franciscan Athlete Award which is given to the senior athlete who best demonstrates the eight values of Franciscan Higher Education.  Coach Freidhoff has also coached at United High School and is currently a science and biology teacher at Bellefonte Area High School. 
    Coach Randy Kochik
    Assistant Coach, Throws - Randy is a 2004 graduate of Bald Eagle Area where he competed on the track and field team under legendary coaches Jeff Jodon and Ron Hoover.  During his time at BEA Coach Kochik competed in all three throwing events with personal bests of 49' 9" in shot put, 142' in discus, and 165' in javelin.  Randy earned a Mountain Athletic Conference Championship in shot put his senior year and had a top three showing in both shot put and discus at the PIAA District 6 AA Championships.  Collegiately, Coach Kochik competed at California University of PA where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering Technology.  Coach Kochik currently holds the indoor shot put record at Cal U with a throw of 46' 2" and is a former hammer throw record holder with a toss of 135'.  Coach Kochik and his wife Megan reside in Bellefonte and have one son.  This will be Coach Kochik's fifth season at Bellefonte.
