    Battle overview:
    This battle was a very short skirmish. A.P. Hill happened to come upon a unit of retreating union soliders and attacked without the nessecary measures usually taken before battle. Another unit was stationed behind the Orange and Alexandria railroad and came forth to assist their retreating bretheren with much success. The union overpowered Hill's assult and continued to retreat with much success.
