Key Club
Key Club is a commnity service club affiliated with Kiwanis International. We are very active in our local and global community and are committed to completing community service projects as much as possible. Key Club members are expected to do 30 hours of community service hours per year and attend monthly meetings. As a club, our goal is to show inclusiveness, kindness, leadership, and character in our lives. Members will have oportunities to participate in a wide variety of service projects including:
- participate in the United Way Day of Caring
- fundraise and donate to UNICEF
- visit and assist seniors living in local care facilities like The Oaks and Centre Crest
- collect food for the Bellefonte Food Bank
- take field trips to local daycare centers to read to the children and give out books for them to keep
- collect toys to donate to Centre County Toys for Tots
- help Bellefonte School District elementary schools with carnivals and holiday workshop events
- fundraise for Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
- support Bellefont READS
- attend the annual Key Club District Convention in the Spring
