Professional Background
I graduated from Penn State University in 2008 with a degree in Elementary Education and I am currently seeking a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Literacy. I have had many wonderful experiences teaching kindergarten, and I also loved working with children (pre K-2) at a Montessori School in State College, where I worked for two years. This will be my seventh year at Marion-Walker and I know lots of fun, learning, and growth will continue to occur! Second grade has been the best part of my teaching career and I'm excited for another fantastic year!
Personal Background
I am originally from the State College area, which is also where I currently live. I enjoy doing anything outdoors as well as painting, seeing movies, making pottery, reading and spending time with my adorable dog Daisy. My family and friends are also very important to me. Most of all, I am dedicated to my students and making this an extremely successful year!
