Hello Fabulous Fifth Graders and Families!
My name is Mrs. Colleen DeFonzo. I am the English Language Arts teacher for fifth grade at Marion-Walker, which means I teach reading, writing, and word study/vocabulary.
I grew up in Woolrich, which is about a half-hour from Bellefonte. I attended Penn State University, graduating in 2005. This is my seventeenth year of teaching, and my twelfth year teaching fifth grade at Marion-Walker Elementary.
I live in Bellefonte with my husband, our children, Natalie and Vincent, and our cat Gypsy.
Some of the things I enjoy are reading, running, and spending time with my family and friends.
