FBLA students excel at states
Students part of FBLA at Bellefonte Area High School excelled in the state competition in April, and making the group part of the most students the club ever had to finish in the Top 10.
According to faculty adviser Rebecca Leitzell, FBLA – Future Business Leaders of America – is a national organization that allows students to be involved in an academic school activity, make new friends across the state and country and complete a variety of events from public speaking to video production. The Bellefonte chapter additionally offers students the chance to get involved, participate in community service and build leadership skills.
Davis Corman, a junior, will also be representing the district as the state’s FBLA vice president for the 2022-23 school year. Leitzell added that this is the first time a student from the school was selected as a state officer.
