High school student athletes honored during college signing ceremony

Nine student athletes from Bellefonte Area High School were honored in March during a ceremony that celebrated them for committing to playing a sport in college, while continuing with academics. The event was held in the school’s cafeteria with a room full of family and friends of the students, while signing letters of intent.

They are:

• Derek Fravel: Baseball, Seton Hill
• Keith Hamilton: Golf, Clarion University
• Molly McKee: Lacrosse, Mount Aloysius
• Tayla Miller: Volleyball, Bloomsburg University
• Aidan O’Shea: Wrestling, Franklin & Marshall
• Zoe Rankin: Gymnastics, Kent State
• Reese Redman: Football, Geneva College
• Jude Swisher: Wrestling, UPenn
• Hayden Walker: Soccer, Lancaster Bible College
