    STEM at Bellefonte Area School District

    STEM stands for science, technology, engineering and math. Sometimes an "A" is added to the acronym to make STEAM, which includes the arts. According to the district mission statement:

    • “By the end of the 2023-2024 school year, a STEM program and activities will be infused into all curriculum areas in grades K-12.”
    • “STEM activities will be observed in all classrooms across the district. Teacher capacity will be enhanced by the STEM Coach.”
