Andrea Royer graduated from Bellefonte Area School District in 1993, and graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education, in addition to a Masters of Education. She moved her family back to Bellefonte in 2013 to be closer to her family, and resides in Marion Township. She was adamant about the move that her children have the opportunity to attend Marion-Walker Elementary School and graduate proudly from Bellefonte Area High School.
Working with adults with disabilities at a local business has shaped Royer as she raises her two high school children; and prepares them to look to the future as competent, caring, lifelong learners and productive citizens.
Royer believes that the greatest assets the district has are its children and their families, along with the community. Their support and involvement will only bolster the amazing work that can be done in the district. Royer is excited to work with the team to advance the goals of the district and to provide for students the greatest beginning to their love of lifelong learning.
