Two runners qualify for states

After a showing at the District 6 Class AA race on Oct. 26, two cross-country runners from Bellefonte Area High School qualified for states. They are juniors Mia Elmore and Austin Melius. The boys’ and girls’ teams placed fourth overall.

PIAA state championships will be held Nov. 2 in Hershey.
