• Red Raiders honor '99 football team

    fbhonorThe Red Raiders football team from 1999 was honored Aug. 23 before kickoff of the first football game of the 2019 season. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the team’s District 6 championship title under direction of Coach Tom Gravish.

    Gravish now coaches the football team at Jersey Shore High School that played Bellefonte Area at its first home football game of the season at the newly-completed Rogers Stadium.

    Bellefonte lost, 55-35. Coach Shanon Manning said the team will work on remaining focused for the games ahead.
