In the district’s inaugural Employee Spotlight feature, we have highlighted three district employees. Faculty and staff were randomly selected from the district’s administration, professional staff and support staff. Here, you may find information about Allison Rowles, Kris Vancas and Tammy Way.
Rowles, a longtime learning support teacher at Bellefonte Area Middle School, prides herself on helping students grow academically and with confidence. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and being active. Click here to read more.
Vancas, the principal at Benner Elementary School, is a husband and dad. He brings that fatherly attitude into school every day where he said he loves to interact with colleagues and students. Click here to read more.
If there are two things Way loves, she said it’s cheerleading and being a part of a global organization called Host Ukraine Orphan Initiative. In 2015, she adopted two sons from the Ukraine. By day, Way is a clerk at the Bellefonte Area High School library. Click here to read more.
