After several months of raising trout, students from Jen Lifsitz's seventh-grade science class at Bellefonte Area Middle School had the opportunity to finally release them in Little Fishing Creek. It was all part of a project called Trout in the Classroom. The program is made possible through a partnership with the Pennsylvania Council of Trout Unlimited and the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission, and is supported by the state Department of Education.

As a celebration for raising more than $13,000 in student council's fall fundraiser, the top 50 Bellefonte Area Middle School students were honored with a field trip to Get Air in State College, which was the first one held for the group since school closed in 2020 due to the pandemic.

He took time to meet with second-grade students in Lauren Fisher's class at Bellefonte Elementary School as they were getting a tech lesson. Each year for Halloween, students in Bellefonte Area High School Spanish teacher Emily Zimdahl-McManus' class participate in an assignment called the Monster Project where students create monsters and identify body parts. It allows students to enhance their Spanish vocabulary in a fun and creative way.
