Physicals
Mandated school physicals are required for grades K or 1 (depending on the student's original entry into school), grade 6 and grade 11.

Vision Screening
Mandated school vision screenings are required in grades K-12. A letter will be mailed home to inform the parent if their child had passed the screening or needs to be referred for follow up with an eye care specialist.
If your child has annual vision exams with an eye-care specialist, you may choose to defer this school screening for your child. -
Hearing Screening
Hearing screenings are performed on students in grades K,1,2,3,7, and 11. Referrals are mailed home to parents for follow up with their primary care physicians if the student had failed two screenings that year.

Scoliosis Exams
Mandated scoliosis exams are performed on students in grades 6 and 7. Referrals will be mailed home for any student that requires follow up with their primary care physician.

Growth Screening (height & weight)
Mandated height and weight screenings are performed on students in grades K-12. BMI letters are mailed home to all parents as required by state guidelines.
