Parent Portal Information and Access

Medication in School
With the exception of emergency medications (epipens/auto-injectors, diabetic medications, asthma inhalers), any medication that a student requires during school hours must be administered by licensed nursing staff.  Any medication not included on the district's emergency health form (for HS & MS, for Elementary) must be brought in by a parent/guardian and must be in the original pharmacy-labelled container/manufacturer packing if over the counter. A healthcare provider's order is necessary and parents/guardians should complete and sign their part of the medication authorization form.
(This is per district policy and PA Department of Health Guidelines.)

PA DOH requires: annual height, weight, and vision screens, as well as hearing screens in K through 3rd grades, 7th grade, and 11th grade and scoliosis in 6th and 7th grade.
Please contact your school nurse if you wish to decline these screenings for your student(s).
