Welcome! My name is Mrs. Hazel.  I started teaching with the district in 2012 (kindergarten at Pleasant Gap) and first grade at Marion-Walker in 2016.  I live in Bellefonte with my husband and our three children. I love spending time outdoors with my family, making crafts with my kids, vacationing at the beach, shopping, coffee, eating yummy local foods, hiking and reading.  I have a degree in Elementary Education (K-6) from Lock Haven University and a Master's degree in Education from Edinboro University's Reading Program.  I also have my Reading Specialist certificate.  I love teaching in the primary grades and seeing the growth my young students make in such a short time.   Please contact me if you ever have any questions or concerns!
