Robert Pacella is a lifelong resident of Centre County and proud 1988 graduate of Bellefonte High School and Centre County Vocational Technical School. He is married to audiologist Dana Boddorf-Pacella and has 3 children and 2 stepdaughters in Bellefonte School District. Robert has been employed at Penn State Facilities Engineering Institute (PSFEI) as a Facility Engineer since 2011, primarily working with the PA Turnpike Commission. Previously, Rob worked for Bellefonte School District and had a very successful career at Penns Valley School District as Director of Physical Plant including being awarded 2 grants totaling $1.8 Million to construct a $3.5 Million Bio Mass Boiler Plant. Rob brings to the board over 20 years of energy management experience including geothermal systems and electrical upgrades in historical homes and buildings.
Rob has been a volunteer firefighter with Bellefonte Fire department since 1987 and has served the Bellefonte community in many roles, including Fire Chief.
Robert is looking forward to serving on the board and utilizing his vast understanding of students’ educational needs as well as facilities.
