Bellefonte eLearning Academy provides an online learning option for Bellefonte Area School District students. Students attend from home or from another location outside of a traditional classroom setting. It is a unique program that combines a strong parent involvement component with a flexible learning environment for K-12 students. Growth and achievement take place in a global community inclusive of academic, emotional, physical, and social contexts. BeLA provides this opportunity to district students with a curriculum that is engaging, challenging, rigorous, purposeful, and relevant. Students are permitted and encouraged to participate in extracurricular and other school-sponsored activities.
