FLEX CLASS

12th Period Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday

The “Flex Class” will meet each 12th period of the week.  This class is designed to allow students to have study time, make up work or tests or rehearse music.  We also have career speakers who come in once a month to address the class.

Each period study time is allotted, but the amount of time is less on the days that we rehearse the Chorus music.  We rehearse the music at least two times a week.  Please remember that the students receive credit and a grade for Chorus but they do not for the Flex time.   Students should plan to finish their homework before the rehearsals begin.  They may not skip a rehearsal because they have homework to finish.

Students should come to class with materials to study.  This is not social time!

It has been wonderful in the past to see students every day in Flex.  It affords a good opportunity to get to know the students better since we meet more than twice a week.  The Chorus also has the opportunity to work on music and singing skills whenever time permits.

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

Come prepared to class with study materials.

Be prepared to rehearse and sing on Chorus days.

Have a great year!
