Grading Procedure
The following criteria will be used for grading:
1. Identifying basic music terminology through
quizzes - 50 points
2. Sing increasingly difficult choral pieces
through daily work - 100 points
3. Performance preparation through daily work - 50
points
4. Performance evaluations - 50 points
5. Final singing project - 40 points
6. Singing strategies through daily work and class demonstrations -
20 points
7. Daily participation - 20 points
8. Following rules daily - 20 points
9. Perform concert assignments - 100 points
THE FINAL EXAM OR PROJECT WILL
BE 20% OF YOUR 4TH NINE WEEK'S GRADE
Daily Procedure - Before
Rehearsal

Arrive on time

Retrieve your music folder
-
Rearrange chairs as needed
and move all music stands to top level

Get music ready for
rehearsal (Look on board for the day's agenda)

Sit in your assigned seat
with your sharpened pencil and music ready

Formal warm-up begins 3
minutes after the bell rings
Daily Procedure - After Rehearsal

I will stop two to three
minutes before the bell

This allows time for you to
put your music away

It allows time to gather
book bags and personal belongings

It does NOT allow you time
to leave early

THE DOOR BEFORE THE DISMISSAL BELL!
