Hello Everyone!

My name is Miss Johanna Steinbacher and I am the elementary music instructor for Bellefonte and Benner Elementary Schools.  I grew up in Montoursville, PA (close to Williamsport, PA) and graduated from Penn State University.  While at Penn State I was involved with many of the bands and choirs including the Penn State Marching Blue Band.

My parents and younger brother Jeff live in Montoursville.  My younger brother Adam and his wife Nichole live in Bloomsburg.  My parents currently have three very amusing cats: Romeo, Indiana, and Xerox.  Romeo got his name because he loves girls!  Indiana is an adventure seeker and that is how he got his name.  Xerox looks just like Indiana and that is way we named him Xerox. 

I am starting my seventh year as a music teacher and have taught everything from elementary music to high school band.  My main instrument is the flute, but I also love to sing!
