REACH FOR THE STARS!

To encourage students to practice, I have started a "Reach for the Stars" program.  Students will earn stars according to the amount of time they practice in one week (Sunday through Saturday.) 

Red Star:   80 minutes per week  (MINIMUM amount)                                  

Silver Star:  100 minutes per week

Gold Star:   120 minutes per week    

For every 5 stars, they can select a small prize out of the prize box.  I will also have special recognition for students who consistently earn silver and gold stars and when a student reaches 10 Gold stars - they will become a member of the elite "Orchestra All-Stars."    Of course, I stress with the students that the best thing they get out of  practicing is being able to play better!
