MEET YOUR TEACHER – Mr. Besch
Thank you for visiting my website. I would like to take this opportunity for you to get to know me as a person and teacher. I am a 1990 graduate of Bellefonte Area High School. I attended Shippensburg University until 1994 when I graduated with a B.A. in Geoenvironmental Sciences. I then moved to Maryland and spent several years working in the construction industry. After attending the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, I received my certificate to teach in area of Earth and Space Science. I have since returned to school and received my certification to teach Chemistry. I am currently enrolled at California University of PA in their Administrative and Supervision Masters Program.
I began my teaching career by teaching for a year in a middle school. My next position was as a science teacher at Perryville High School, also in Maryland, for two and a half years, where I was also an assistant football coach. I returned home to Bellefonte in February of 2003 and am currently teaching science at the high school. I now teach Chemistry and AP Chemistry, but have also taught Earth Science and Natural Science. I also have spent three years as a football coach for the Red Raiders. Bellefonte is a special place for my family and me. My wife and I grew up with in the Bellefonte community and we look forward to giving back to the community that gave us so much.
