Mrs. onuskanich

I am originally from Houtzdale, Pennsylvania, where I graduated from the Moshannon Valley School District.  After graduation, I attended Lock Haven University, where I received the degree of Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education with a minor in Spanish.  While in college, I worked at Wonder Years Child Care Center in Jersey Shore as a group supervisor for students in grades K-6.  I was then hired by the West Branch Area School District, where I had the pleasure of teaching at many levels.  During my five years at West Branch, I taught Spanish at the high school level before moving on to teach kindergarten, third grade, and fourth grade.  Currently, I am in the process of finishing my graduate work at Bloomsburg University, where I will earn the degree of Masters of Education in Reading.  Already, I have received my Reading Specialist Certification.  I am now very excited to be teaching first grade at Pleasant Gap Elementary!
