1. Use quiet voices. 2. Handle books carefully. 3. Return books on time. 4. Keep all chair legs flat on the floor. 5. Be nice to others. |
The normal check-out period for students is one 6 day cycle. Books may be renewed two times. Students will come to the library on a scheduled basis. Students in Kindergarten and 1st grade are limited to 1 book checked out at a time. Grade 2 through 5 students may check out 2 books each week. Additional books are permitted when students are working on a report or are paired with reading buddies. | When a student has an overdue book, he or she cannot check out another book until the overdue is returned. No fines are charged for overdue books. | The full replacement cost will be charged for any lost or damaged materials. Books damaged beyond repair require payment immediately. If a material is lost, notify me but continue looking for the book. Books are recovered in very unusual places and many times when we are not looking for them. By the end of the school year if a book has not been found full replacement cost will be charged. |
