Head Coach Varsity: Gregg Kohlhepp Coach Kohlhepp played baseball and hockey growing up. Since becoming an English teacher at the Bellefonte Area School in 1997, he has worked with several school programs. He was the class of 2001 advisor and currently co-advises the Bellefonte Mock Trial team. In addition to these roles, Coach Kohlhepp has been a vital member of the Bellefonte Softball staff since his first year with the school district. During his first four years with the softball program, Coach Kohlhepp assisted the Junior High program as the "B" Team Coach. In 2001, Coach Kohlhepp took over at the high school level as the Junior Varsity Coach. After four successful Junior Varsity seasons, Coach Kohlhepp was promoted to serve as Varsity Assistant. Following Coach Wetzler's retirement, Coach Kohlhepp took over leadership of the softball program. He helped led the Lady Raiders to their eighth straight district championship in May 2007.

Varsity Assistant Coach: Fred Caldwell This is Coach Caldwell’s seventh year with the Varsity program. Coach Caldwell, who recently retired from full time employment to spend more time coaching, also enjoys fishing, playing cards with friends and spending time with his wife of over 25 years. He and Debbie are the proud parents of two children. Scott, who graduated in Computer Science from Saint Francis University, lives and works in State College. Laura, the former Bellefonte pitcher, is on scholarship as a junior English major and starting pitcher for Saint Francis University.

Junior Varsity Coach: Shawn Barbrow This is Coach Barbrow’s second year with the Bellefonte Softball program. Coach Barbrow, who was hired in 2006 as the Class of 2009 guidance counselor, brings coaching experience from the Philipsburg Hurricane's ASA summer program. His thoughts on skill-driven practices and his dedication to working hard make him a great addition to the Bellefonte Softball program. |

Nissenbaum This is the fourth year Coach Niss has been involved with the program and her third year as the White Team coach. Coach Niss has been playing softball since the fourth grade in her hometown of Lower Merion, PA. She got involved with the program after graduating from Penn State and deciding to stay and work in the area.
