Professional Staff Application Instructions

The following items are required when submitting your application packet to teach within the Bellefonte Area School District:

  • Letter of Interest
  • Resume
  • Completed Pennsylvania Standard Teaching Application
  • Copy of Pennsylvania Teaching Certificate*
  • Copies of Transcripts from all Undergraduate and/or Graduate Schools*
  • *Note: Originals must be presented to Human Resources if position is offered
  • Act 34 Clearance State Police Criminal Background Check**
  • Act 151 Clearance PA Child Abuse History**
  • Act 114  FBI Clearance  FBI registration ID number only required for all applicants**
  • Successful candidate will be required to obtain a complete physical and TB test**
  • **NOTE: All clearances and the physical must be dated within the past calendar year and need to be attached to the application for consideration
    •
  • Copies of Letters of Recommendation
  • Successful candidate will be required to obtain a complete physical and TB test. 

            ONLY COMPLETE PACKETS WILL BE CONSIDERED.

Recent graduates may apply with a copy of PRAXIS and original letter of eligibility from graduating college/university in lieu of teaching certificate.  Original teaching certificate must be provided once received.

Application packets are accepted only when job openings are posted.
