The Bellefonte Foundation Scholarship Programs

Henry A. and Anne E. Haranin Scholarship Award
Two awards of $100 each sponsored by the Davis and Haranin families to a senior boy and girl.  A student of quality and merit with the desire to continue their education.  One who is well rounded and involved in activities.  One who has a strong ethic yet is not often recognized because they contribute quietly and not for recognition.  A student with values of honesty, integrity, and a respect for others that is shown in their daily accomplishments.

Dr. Hugh J. Rogers Recognition Award
Two $500 cash awards given to a male and female to reflect Dr. Rogers qualities of excellence in both academics and athletics.   The recipient must have at least 3.0 grade point average, have earned at least one varsity letter, and demonstrated citizenship by participation in at least one school related extracurricular activity, and/or involvement in a community related program.   In addition, applicants must complete an application, obtain a letter of recommendation, and write an essay.

Constance Davis Leadership Award
Award of $50 given to the President of the Senior Class to recognize the individuals willingness to serve the class.

Bryan Durkin Memorial Scholarship
Two $1,000 scholarships given in memory of Bryan Durkin to one female and one male student planning to continue their education, demonstrate financial need and have participated in at least one school related extra-curricular activity. In addition, applicants must complete an application, obtain two letters of recommendation from teachers, and write an essay on why they should be considered for this scholarship.

Creation of Additional Scholarship Programs
