Student Mentor Program

The  Lunchtime Mentor program is hosted by the Foundation as a part of their mission to enhance educational opportunities for Bellefonte students.  The overall goal of our Mentor program is to provide students at Bellefonte Area High School with both encouragement to set higher goals for themselves and guidance on how to reach those goals.  Mentors are expected to answer questions ranging from "How can I afford College or Professional School and which is best?" to "What do I need to know to run my own business?" to "How can I have a family and a successful career?".  For students interested in entering less traditional fields, the Mentor Luncheon provides an opportunity to ask specific questions which parents and school counselors have not been able to answer.
