Volunteer Program Information / How Do I Volunteer To Help In The School?

Thank you for you interest in volunteering for the Bellefonte Area School District. By sharing your time and talent you can enrich the learning experience for students and provide needed support to our teachers and staff.

Any volunteer who plans on working more than 5 days in the buildings during the school day, or will be in a position of being alone with students at any time will need to become a Registered Volunteer. Registered Volunteers are approved by the Bellefonte School Board after submitting a Volunteer Form, Statement of Confidentiality, PA Child Abuse clearance, PA Criminal History clearance and results of a TB test to your school office. Note: All Field Trip Chaperones must become registered volunteers, regardless of how many days they will be volunteering.
