¨       Approved the Board Bill Lists associated with the following funds:  General Fund, Athletics Fund, Construction Fund, Cafeteria Fund, High School Activities Fund, and Middle School Activities Fund

¨       Appointed Mr. Matthew Cernuska as a temporary professional employee effective November 20, 2006, with initial assignment as an Alternative Education teacher at BAHS

¨       Appointed Ms. Shana Nissenbaum as a long-term substitute teacher at Benner Elementary School beginning January 2, 2007, through the end of the 2006-07 school year

¨       Approved the transfer of Mrs. Amy Bingaman to the position of Reading Specialist at Bellefonte Elementary School effective January 2, 2007

¨       Appointed Mr. Michael Friel as a temporary professional employee effective November 28, 2006, with initial assignment as a special education teacher at BAMS

¨       Accepted the resignation of Sonja L. Evans, cafeteria worker at Bellefonte Elementary School, effective November 17, 2006

¨       Approved additions to the professional and support staff substitute listings

¨       Extended the employment contract for Mr. Kenneth G. Bean, Jr., Director of Fiscal Affairs, for the period January 19, 2007 – June 30, 2010

¨       Approved Mrs. Gay Homan as a volunteer at Pleasant Gap Elementary School

 

Education and School Activities

 

¨       Approved a field trip for the Bellefonte Middle School Life Skills students

¨       Approved a trip for Bellefonte Middle School 7th grade students to Hershey Park, June 1, 2007

 

Finance

 

¨       Approved change orders for the Bellefonte Area High School Project and Marion-Walker Elementary School Project

¨       Approved the CPI Budget for 2007-08 as presented

 

Other

 

¨       Approved to salvage equipment/materials

¨       Approved a Research Study for David Schaub and Amy Miner, Middle School Learning Support teachers

¨       Accepted a donation from AmeriServ Financial in the amount of $90 to be used toward student activity costs at the discretion of the high school administration
