At the meeting of the Bellefonte Area School Board held on Tuesday, March 1, 2005, the following action was taken: 

  • Accepted the resignation of Lee Ann Bennett, Classroom Assistant, effective February 11, 2005.

  • Appointed Dawn McCarthy as a cafeteria aide effective upon receipt of background clearances.

  • Appointed Angela McClure as a cafeteria aide effective February 25, 2005, at the Bellefonte Area Middle School.

  • Approved the job description for the Secretary to Elementary Principal.

  • Approved additions to the Professional Substitute Llisting.

  • Approved additions to the Support Staff Substitute Listing.

  • Approved Extra Duty Extra Pay Positions.

  • Approved Volunteers.

  • Approved Student Teachers.

  • Approved Student Activity Trips.

  • Reviewed Policy No. 210.1 – Possession/Use of Asthma Inhalers – First Reading

  • Accepted the resignation of Board Member James G. Stewart, II

Calendar - As per the 2004-2005 calendar that the Bellefonte Area School Board approved last year, March 10, 2005, will be the snow make-up day.  March 11, 2005, will  be a vacation day.  The teacher inservice day will be added to the end of the calendar.
