At the meeting of the Bellefonte Area School Board held on Tuesday, January 25, 2005, the following action was taken: 

  • Accepted the resignation of Ellen Rimmey, Assistant Director of Transportation and Food Services, effective February 4, 2005

  • Approved additions to the Professional Substitute Listing

  • Approved additions to the Support Substitute Listing

  • Appointed the following Extra-Duty, Extra Pay Positions:  Nan Sichler-Moerschbacher (Assistant Softball Coach); Nicole Naugle (Jr. High Softball Head Coach); and Katy Kyle (Jr. High Softball Assistant Coach)

  • Appointed volunteers

  • Approved student interns for Spring 2005

  • Awarded tenure to:  Stephanie Culley, Michelle Krape, Mary Miltenberger, and Ruth Anne Owens

  • Approved student activity trips

  • Approved the Bellefonte Area High School 2005-2006 Course Description Guide

  • Gave authorization to advertise for bids for general, art, technology education, physical education, science, and maintenance/custodial supplies for the 2005-06 school year

  • Accepted the donation and installation of a concession stand/press box to be located at the Bellefonte Area Middle School softball field

  • Approved Act 34 documents for Bellefonte Area High School Additions and Alterations Project #3109and the Marion-Walker Elementary School Additions and Alterations Project
