wires hanging down in the hallways and lights installed haphazardly.
Outstanding Work Place Safety Concerns: None
Work Place Safety Concerns: None
New Business:
1. Security cameras at the high school and how
will they be attached because there are no ceilings to attach them to
and if they could be mounted on the walls..
2. Ladders on the stage at Bellefonte Elementary
are not secured to the wall and pose a danger. Aaron will check this and
make a recommendation.
3. Aaron stated that he has not yet heard for the
Centre County Crisis Committee about scheduled spring desktop training
for our District. We are to receive this training sometime soon.
4. Injury/illness reviews. All documented injury
reports fit into the category of slips, trips, and falls. The majority
of the accidents are not related to conditions that could be changed to
prevent future accidents in the same area.
5. Girls locker room at the high school needs to
be checked after the asbestos project to see if the roof leak has been
taking care of.
6. Betsy’s concern about the kids getting off of
the bus at Marion-Walker was checked out by Aaron through Tim Miller
from a previous meeting and that there was a lack of teachers to use.
The suggestion came up about having Teachers Aides posted during bus
loading and unloading. Aaron will discuss this with the Superintendent.
The next meeting is scheduled for August 24, 2005
at the High School to check out the post-asbestos conditions @ 9:00 a.m.
Meeting adjourned @ 10:00 a.m.
