Field Day Visitor Procedures-Please Remember Photo ID’s

Field Day is fast approaching and the following procedures will be in place to help ensure the day runs smooth.

Admittance to the Building:

1.         If you are planning to enter the building for any reason, you will need to show your ID, sign in, and wear a visitor’s sticker.  This includes using the restroom.

2.        To ease the rush of signing in at the main office, a table will be positioned on the playground blacktop allowing you to sign-in, show ID, and grab a visitor’s sticker once you arrive at Benner on Field Day.  Of course, if you do not plan on entering the building you do not need to sign in.

3.        Once signed in and with your visitor’s sticker you will be able to enter the building.

Signing Your Child Out After Field Day Events

1.        Forms for each classroom will be placed at the sign-in tables by mid-morning.  Please sign next to your child’s name for him/her to be dismissed as a walker after Field Day events.  Students will be dismissed from their classrooms after they have grabbed their backpacks, etc.  These students and other walkers will be dismissed at approximately 2:30.

Our kindergarten registration May 23.  Your child must be five years old before September 1, 2013.  Call the school to schedule an appointment – 355-2812.
